His Highness Sheikh Maktoum Hasher Al Maktoum is the President & Chairman of JBC Properties DMCC. Under his visionary guidance, the company succeeded in handing over multiple high-rise residential and commercial towers in Jumeirah Lakes Towers.
A developer par excellence, His Highness made an impact in the industry in 2008 by delivering more than 200 floors in records time despite adverse market conditions. Credits to his leading role in the restructuring, the company’s balance sheet strengthened and stood as the foremost player in the commercial real estate market.
His Highness Sheikh Maktoum is also the Board of Director for Commercial Bank of Dubai, in addition to previously serving on the Board of SHUAA Capital as the Executive Chairman. He is the Chairman of Dubai International Holding Company, a private investment firm with extensive experience in natural resources, mining, traditional and renewable energy. He is also known for being the founding investor of Virgin Megastores in the UAE and founder of A1GP.
He has been prominently recognised for his leadership qualities on a number of occasions, including ‘Young Global Leader of 2007′ by the World Economic Forum, ‘CEO of the Year’ by CEO Middle East in 2008 & 2009 and Humanitarian of the Year in 2010.
